Are there people afraid to change their vote due to stubbornness and ego?

I’ll say it, I used to support Obama. But the recent allegations, the racism, and the lies have swayed my vote against him. At first my ego held me back, but my country is a little more important than my ego.Dont be afraid to change your vote. This is America, we’re free to change our minds as much as we please.

    Thanks Whitey!

I wasn’t I defended him on a weekly basis on things that came up. After hearing how much His church despises Whites and America there is no way I can support him. I was wrong.

Many Obama supporters would rather go down with their sinking ship.

I’m not changing my mind because my vote for Obama wasn’t based on race in the first place it was based on his position on the issues and what he plans to do for the American people. And if your vote was based solely on race, that is a pretty weak excuse to vote for Obama or even change your vote for Obama. Obama isn’t the racist pastor, Rev. Wright is the racist pastor whom he is a close friend with. A lot of people have friends with whom they disagree with at certain points and don’t like the way they think at times but they can still be friends =/. Just like how John Hagee doesn’t like Catholics and publicly admits it, he is a friend and pastor supporting John McCain but that doesn’t mean John McCain hates Catholics it just means he has an extreme surrogate who dislikes Catholics (and I haven’t seen John McCain repudiate this guys comments yet about our sins causing Hurricane Katrina or his offensive remarks against Catholics on the campaign trail).

In Oregon we used to have public vote ( we by mail now) and they would give the Dems one color of folder and the Reps another and put us in 3 seperate lines (indepents and others in 3rd) you would be surprised the people that so adament about one party during the course stood in the line they were against. Small Towns have a lot of that type of stuff come to light

Of course it’s stubbornness and ego. A lot of people on here are in denial right now, but it is nice to bump into one of the few even-tempered (ex)-Obama people going around. Good for you!

Okay. Either you’ve already voted in a primary or caucus, so it doesn’t really matter now, or you haven’t voted yet, in which case, great, you don’t have to vote for him.

So here’s the question for the general election… If he happens to be the Democratic nominee, will you bite the bullet and still vote for him instead of allowing a Republican to get into office, will you vote for the Republican in order to protest against Obama, or will you stay home to protest the election?

  9. Melany Davidson Said:

Nope I’m still voting for Obama, the only thing keeping me from changing my mind is common sense and good judgment.

IT does my heart good and gives me hope to see people like you….I was beginning to believe there was no coming back after drinking the “kool-aide”

    God bless your good sense!!!

I hope it’s not pride that keeps people from seeing the truth…..our country is so much more important then our PRIDE…….in fact a wise man once said “Pride goes before a fall”
