how do you see “yourself” in relation to your ego?
do you think that the ego has played a significant role in the evolution and development of human beings (not speaking societally, but in relation to our evolution from lower primates)?
do you think that humans are heading in a direction that transcends the ego or submits to it and how does this make you feel?

I have a stock Etek Ego and I can’t decide whether to put a cure bolt, kila bolt, or an orange bolt on it. I have the money to put in any of the mbut I’m not sure which is better.

I get compliements a lot, and sometimes its very flattering, at the same time awkward. I just want to know how to not let it all go to my head. I don’t want to have a big ego…but I get compliements from strangers all the time. Also they take pictures of me as well. What should I do?

I understand that an alter ego is a secondary or alternative personality. and i understand that Batman’s alter ego is Bruce Wayne (for example). but that example is obvious because it is the same physical person. But what are some other examples and how did you identify them?

Is there a medical term for someone who hallucinates another person’s existence? Like if a guy imagines that he has a girlfriend when really, it is just an alter ego that his mind has created and all along his girlfriend’s actions are his own? Is that schizophrenia? Multiple personality disorder?

I have been working on learning to let go of the ego, and not placing blame on others for my life’s current conditions. While I have found myself being kinder to others, I seem to have sunk into a deep depression. I was wondering if anybody else has gone through this? Is the depression normal? How do I get past it? When does it get easier, and are there ways to make it easier?

My ex boyfriend told me that I am his new girlfriends alter ego and that she is my alter ego. I don’t really know what he means when he says that. I know that his girlfriend and I are rather different in alot of ways. He also said that we could learn alot from one another if we obtained some different characteristices from one another. He said that we be both could teach each other something and that we are each others “alter ego”. What is he really saying? I don’t really understand what that means.
