If you are planning to specialize in Psychiatry after medical school, then Psych could be a good major. However, if you're not planning to go into Psychiatry, other courses such as Public Health and Medical Technology can give you a better background for the courses you'll be undertaking in medical school. <a href="http://www.unblockdrains.org" / rel="nofollow">drain</a>

An undergrad degree in Psychology is known to be the easiest degree to obtain, so if you go that route with the intention of applying to medical school, your GPA has to be excellent. If you are thinking about going into psychiatry, what you learn in all of the undergrad will be taught in a couple of weeks between med school and residency training.

First, you don't need to go to medical school to become a PT. Although it is a masters or doctorate level program (DPT, not PhD), they are held in many major universities across the country.

You can certainly continue to finish your BS in psych, but you might have to take a few extra courses to meet the PT prerequisites such as a year of bio, chem and physics.
