Most people have ego’s to some extent.When most people hear things in a boastful manner from a third party it makes them feel good because it’s triggers a reaction from the brain and let’s the emotional side of us enjoy it and gives us an incentive to do the things that we are applauded for.Because our hedonistic side of us wants to hear and feel good things versus bad things.Kind of like the rat in the maze who knows that there is cheese waiting for him when he finishes his task.
