What is a fair salary for a sociology major a few years out of school?
I have a few years of experience in HR with a sociology major? Any idea on a fair salary? Any ideas on what are some good positions to pursue with Sociology major?

If you have a sociology degree, and you don’t say, “Would you like to upsize that for only $.49 more?” 1000 times aday, consider yourself lucky

I have my BA in Sociology and I only make 31,000.00 and that is why I am in grad school right now. Depending on where you live, type of agency you work for, etc. you may cap out at about 35,000 or so. But like I said it really depends. However, check out the link below it has lots of job postings for soc/psy/human services, etc majors…
Good luck!!!

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates the average salary of sociologists was $75460 in 2008. Check-out central heating for possible opening for sociologist.
