What wrestler do you feel is not given the respect he has earned over the years?
I think it is Sabu!
The most inovative wrestler EVER! He has created more moves then anyone i can think of. He beat up his body for the fans for 20 years and i feel he does not get the respect he deserves.
Also Jerry Lynn and Raven are 2 more wrestlers that should get alot of respect for all the things they have done over their wrestling lives.

sabu has done so many things for wresting and nobody no’s who he is…
they just no the big people like john cena
I totally agree about Raven. Even Austin admitted in an interview that he was misused in both WCW and WWF. Because he could have been the next big star.
Sabu has botched too many moves too many times to ever get the consideration as a top performer. Plus mic skills are not one of his strengths.
Jerry Lynn: Once again he needed to have some mic skills.
Lance Storm was also not respected by management, being saddled with such crappy gimmicks like the Mr. Boring. He was good on the mic, if given time. Storm is obviously a great technical wrestler.

Sabu’s also a druggie and Vince has given him enough chances to clean up his act. I agree with you regarding Raven and Jerry Lynn though. I think Lance Storm wasn’t given the respect he deserved. Umaga and Mark Henry are pretty much just slot fillers now. I would say Matt Hardy needs his big push as well.
I agree with the one’s you mentioned.
But I also think ever since Kane was unmasked, he has always lived in the Undertaker’s shadow. And I personally prefer Kane to the Undertaker.
Sabu doesnt get the credit he deserves with WWE fans. I agree.
Raven is one of my favs and also doesnt get the respect he deserves. He is a little more unorthodox so I understand him not been the center of attention but I think he is a world champion that deserved a bigger spotlight.
I think Steiner doesnt get the respect that he deserves. The guys is a great wrestler and has a great character. He was part of one of the greatest tag teams in history and then became a main eventer went he became Big Papa Pump. They turned him into a one hit wonder and now nobody wants to give him a shot at the title or respect everything that he has done.

Then finally lets go to the Heels Randy Orton, MVP ( he’s actaully pretty good if you think of his acoplishments), john Morrison

Without a doubt the wrestler who doesn’t get his due, mainly because the people who talk about wrestling are young people is Edward “The Original Shiek” Farhat.
He IS the original creator of hardcore wrestling…bar none. Not Terry Funk or Sabu or anybody else you want to name even comes close, except the #2 hardcore wrestler of all time…Abdullah the butcher.
These two greats alone garners the title of “not given the respect he has earned”. Not to mention the great BoBo Brazil who was the Jackie Robinson of professional wrestling.
The new era guys are ok, but if you could watch some old clips on youtube of The Shiek, Abdullah the butcher, and BoBo Brazil and you will see that these men started it all, and gave over 30, 40 years to the sport that we all love so much.
