Why do people give their alter ego a name, for example, singers & movie stars?
And, do you think they want to hide behind these made up alter ego personalities, or do you think they do not want to face the realities of their actions? Last question, does schizophrenia play any part in these alter egos? I really want to understand these personalities.
They may feel that they can express themselves more freely and without worry about social stigma.
